Project Activities

Meet Our Community: Local Life Showcase

Students explore their own community by researching and documenting daily routines, local traditions, school life, and important places. Each student or small group creates a simple profile (using drawings, photos, short written descriptions, or a digital poster) that introduces where they live and what makes their community unique.

Duration: 45 minutes

Share & Compare: Exchange with Partner Class

Students share their community profiles with the partner class through the Class2Class platform and review the profiles from their international peers. Working in pairs or small groups, they identify 3 similarities, 3 differences, and 1 surprising discovery between their community and the partner community, then prepare one respectful question to ask their international peers.

Duration: 90 minutes

Dialogue & Reflection: Answer & Explore Further

Students respond to questions from their partner class and engage in a respectful exchange about their communities through discussion boards or shared documents. They reflect on what they learned about how young people in other countries experience daily life and what surprised them most about the similarities and differences they discovered.

Two Communities, One World: Final Presentation

Students collaboratively create a digital presentation, poster, or short video that combines what they learned from both their own community and their partner class. The final product showcases the similarities, differences, and key discoveries, demonstrating how young people around the world share common experiences while celebrating unique cultural perspectives.
