Project Activities

1

Kick-off video call and what keeps us going

Students from both classes meet by video, introduce themselves, and share what helps them stay focused and what makes them put things off. Together they agree on the survey questions about motivation, procrastination, and self-discipline.

Duration: 60 minutes
2

Build and run the shared survey

In mixed teams, students draft and refine a common survey, test it on each other, and then collect answers from peers in both classrooms. They organize the responses into a shared spreadsheet.

Duration: 150 minutes
3

Compare patterns across cultures, homes, and schools

Students analyze the combined results to find patterns linked to culture, family life, and school systems. They discuss in cross-class teams what the data does and does not show.

Duration: 180 minutes
4

Evaluate which strategies work best

Students weigh the evidence for each self-discipline strategy across both classrooms and decide which seem most effective. They justify their conclusions with specific survey data and reflect on their own habits.

Duration: 150 minutes
5

Joint presentation with partner class

Mixed teams present their findings and recommended strategies to both classes by video, using evidence from the survey. Classmates ask questions and give feedback on the reasoning.

Duration: 90 minutes
