Project Activities
Hello, Our Dates: Warm-up Circle and Kick-off Video Call
Students meet their partner class on a short video call, play simple name and greeting games, and learn what a meaningful date means in each classroom. Teachers explain the goal of sharing important dates across cultures.
Drawing Our Important Date at Home and in the Community
Students choose one meaningful date from their family or community and show it through a simple drawing or photo. They practise describing it in a few words, with teacher help for younger learners.
Live Exchange: Sharing and Listening Across Classrooms
Students take turns on a live video call to tell their partner classmates what their date means to them. Listeners notice similarities and differences and ask friendly questions.
Comparing Dates and Recording Our Messages
Students reflect on what they heard and note similar and different dates with a partner. They then record a short spoken or drawn message to send back to the partner class so every voice is heard.
Showcase of Our Dates and Messages
Students share their drawings and messages with each other and their partner class in a closing video call. They talk about what they learned about empathy, listening, and their shared humanity.
