Hello, Partner Class! Greetings and Name Game
Children greet the partner class on a video call and play a simple name game, saying hello and waving to each other. Teacher guides turn-taking so every child gets a chance to speak.
Show and Tell: My Favourite Toy, Colour, or Animal
Children bring a favourite toy, colour, or animal and practise saying 'I like...' and 'This is my...' with a partner in class. They draw or find a picture of their favourite thing to use during the live exchange.
Live Video Exchange: Sharing Our Favourite Things
Children take turns showing their favourite toy, colour, or animal to the partner class and naming it in simple English. They greet, listen, and respond kindly to each other during the call.
Our Favourite Things Song and Storytelling
Children sing a simple song about favourite things and retell the exchange with the teacher's help, using pictures and gestures. They talk about how they felt during the call and what they learned about their partner class.
Goodbye Showcase for Our Partner Class
Children show their drawings and favourite things to families and share one sentence about a favourite thing. They say goodbye to the partner class and thank them for their friendship.
