Project Activities
Paper Play Explorers: What Can We Make?
Students explore different ways to turn waste paper into toys and learning tools through guided discovery. They try simple folding, rolling, cutting, and stacking techniques, play with their creations, and share their favorite discoveries with the class.
Design and Build Your Paper Play Collection
Students choose 2-3 paper play techniques they enjoyed and design their own collection of toys or learning materials, experimenting with colors, sizes, and new ideas. They keep notes and take photos of their creations as they work.
Create an Instruction Guide for Your Partner Class
Students write simple step-by-step instructions with pictures showing how to make their favorite paper play items. They organize their guide so their partner class can follow along and make the same things.
Live Video Exchange: Showcase and Teach
Both classes join a video call to show off their paper play collections, explain how they made them, and teach each other their favorite designs. Students ask questions and share ideas about what they might try next.
Reflect on Our Creative Journey
Students look back at their work, draw or write about what they made, what was tricky, and what they learned from their partner class. They share one idea they want to try after seeing what the other class created.
