What is this project about?

Students take photos and write short descriptions of their school, sharing favourite places, routines, and traditions. They swap these with partner classes abroad to compare what school life looks like around the world.

Welcome to our school: sharing first impressions with partner class

Students introduce themselves and their school to the partner class, then discuss what they think school life might look like in the other country.

Duration: 30 minutes

Photograph and describe our favourite school places and routines

Students take photos of favourite places, daily routines, and traditions around school, then write short captions explaining each one.

Duration: 120 minutes

Build our school photo story and exchange it with the partner class

Students combine their photos and texts into a shared school story, then send it to the partner class and compare it with the stories they receive.

Duration: 150 minutes

Co-write a magazine article comparing school life across countries

Students work with partner classmates to write a short magazine article on the similarities and differences they found between their schools.

Duration: 100 minutes
5

Present our school magazine to both classes

Students share their finished magazine pages in a video call or showcase, then reflect on what they learned about each other's school life.
