Project Activities

1

Warm-up: Meet Our Partner Class and Our Letters

Students introduce themselves to the partner class and share how they first learned the Noorani Qaida letters. Pairs choose one letter they find tricky to start the sound exchange.

Duration: 30 minutes
2

Practice and Record Letters and Short Words in Pairs

Working in pairs, students practice the Noorani Qaida letters and short Quranic words until they feel confident. Each pair then records clear audio of their correct pronunciation and checks it with the teacher.

Duration: 150 minutes
3

Share Recordings and Compare Pronunciation with the Partner Class

Pairs upload their recordings to a shared space and listen to the partner class's recordings of the same letters and words. Together, they note similarities and differences in pronunciation and discuss what they hear.

Duration: 100 minutes

Showcase Our Sound Comparison Circle

Pairs share their findings in a sound circle with the partner class, playing a short example and describing how the same letter sounds differ across classrooms. Students reflect on what they learned about listening and respecting each other's ways of speaking.
