What Makes Our Traditions Special? Getting to Know Each Other
Students share a favorite family tradition through a quick story or drawing, then discuss why traditions matter to them. This helps the class bond and introduces the idea that every culture has meaningful practices worth exploring.
Discovering Our Family Stories
Students interview a family member about a cultural tradition, asking questions about its origin, meaning, and importance. They record notes or create a simple one-page summary with drawings or photos to capture the tradition's story.
Sharing Traditions with Our Partner Class
Students prepare a short presentation or digital card about their family tradition and exchange it with the international partner class using the Class2Class platform. They also receive and read about traditions from their partners, then write down similarities and differences they notice.
