Project Activities

1

Writing Celebration Kick-Off

Students share what they learned during the writing course and choose their strongest descriptive paragraph. They briefly discuss what makes their chosen piece special and preview the exchange with the partner class.

Duration: 15 minutes

Design and Polish Your Writing Image

Students turn their selected paragraph into a visually appealing image or poster by adding one or two relevant photos and arranging the text clearly. They refine their writing and create a final product ready to share.

Duration: 50 minutes

Read, Respond, and Reflect on Partner Writing

Students read their partner class's descriptive paragraphs and leave thoughtful comments, questions, or reactions. They notice interesting vocabulary, cultural perspectives, and different techniques their peers used to bring subjects to life.

Celebrate Learning and Connections

Students reflect on what they discovered from reading partner writing, share one technique or idea that inspired them, and celebrate the creative choices and cultural expressions in the work across both classes.
