Project Activities
Global Problems Gallery Walk and Partner Introduction
Students explore real-world international problems through images and headlines, discuss which ones matter most, and introduce themselves and their local context to their partner class via a simple recorded video or written message.
Research and Perspective Mapping
Students research one shared global problem in depth, interview someone in their community about it, and create a simple visual map showing how the problem affects their local area and how their partner class's context might differ.
Collaborative Solution Design and Feedback
Working with their partner class asynchronously, students co-create a practical action plan or prototype to address the shared problem, incorporating insights from both classrooms, and give each other structured feedback to refine the solution.
Solution Showcase and Reflection
Students present their final collaborative solution, explain how diverse perspectives strengthened it, and reflect on what they learned about global problem-solving and working across cultures.
