Project Activities
Kick-off video call: meet the partner class and share our community
Students meet their partner class by video, introduce themselves, and share a little about where they live and their daily life. Mixed pairs are formed and the routine survey is explained.
Gather daily routines and resources from family members
In mixed pairs, students interview family members about a typical day, such as meals, school, transport, water, and energy use, and note the resources they use. They create a short shared comparison list.
Compare routines by video call and discuss the causes of differences
Pairs present their comparison list to the partner class during a live video exchange and ask questions to understand each other. Together they discuss what local and global factors, like climate, income, or culture, might explain the differences.
Write a short summary of what surprised us and share it with the partner class
Each pair writes a brief summary of what surprised them and what they learned about how daily life connects across the world. Summaries are shared with the partner class and reflected on together.
