Duration: 180 minutes
2

Explore and Compare: Discover Partner Classrooms

Students receive introductions from their partner classroom and spend time exploring the photos, videos, and descriptions to identify similarities and differences in daily life, school routines, and cultural practices. They take notes and ask questions to deepen their understanding.

Duration: 900 minutes
Delivery: Interview
3

Create Connections: Exchange Questions and Stories

Students prepare thoughtful questions about their partner classroom's culture and daily life, then exchange these asynchronously through the Class2Class platform. They receive and respond to questions from their partners, sharing stories and explanations that reveal more about their own community.

Duration: 1,200 minutes
4

Build a Shared Understanding: Collaborative Comparison Project

Working in small groups, students create a visual comparison (chart, infographic, or concept map) that shows cultural similarities and differences between their classroom and one or more partner classrooms. They use the information gathered to highlight what is unique and what is universal.

Celebrate Our Stories: Create a Digital Gallery

Students curate and organize all introductions, exchanges, and comparison projects into a shared digital gallery or presentation that celebrates the diversity and connections across all participating classrooms. They write captions and reflections that explain what they learned about each culture.

Reflect and Share: Showcase Global Learning

Students present the digital gallery to their school community and reflect on what they discovered about cultural practices, similarities, and differences. They share how connecting with other classrooms changed their understanding of the world and their own community.
