Project Activities

Getting to Know Our World

Students introduce themselves and their local community through photos, drawings, or short videos. They share one special tradition, celebration, or daily habit that makes their culture unique, and discuss what they want to learn about other countries.

Duration: 60 minutes

Research and Create Cultural Profiles

Students work in small groups to research a assigned country or culture, gathering information about traditions, daily life, celebrations, food, and symbols. They create a visual profile (poster, digital slide, or collage) with photos, maps, and descriptions to share with the partner class.

Duration: 180 minutes

Live Video Exchange with Partner Class

Students present their cultural profiles to the partner class in a live video call, ask questions about each other's traditions, and have a guided conversation to discover similarities and differences between their communities.

Compare and Reflect on Cultures

Students create a comparison chart or infographic showing what they learned about the partner class's culture and how it is similar to or different from their own. They write or record short reflections on what surprised them and what they have in common with their international peers.

Students present their cultural discoveries and comparison findings to the whole class or school community through a gallery walk, digital exhibition, or short presentation. They reflect on how understanding other cultures has changed their perspective and what they would like to share with the world.
