Our Stories, Our Voices: Getting Started

Students share personal stories about their communities in a warm, informal setting, then learn what makes a good story. The class discusses why telling our own stories matters and what they'll create together.

Writing and Sharing Our First Stories

Students write original short stories or personal narratives about their communities and experiences in English, then exchange them with the partner class for initial feedback and questions. They begin to see how their stories connect to and differ from peers around the world.

Editing Together: Learning From Feedback

Students receive peer feedback from their partner class and from classmates, then revise their stories by applying the suggestions. They also read partner stories and practice giving constructive feedback, building editing skills and intercultural understanding.

Designing and Publishing Our Bilingual Collection
