Age of Students
Less than 6 years
Project Duration
3 weeks
Starting Month
January 2027

Learning Outcomes

Remember / Understand
Students will be able to use block commands to build a short sequence that moves the robot toward a target, working in pairs.
Apply

Project Activities

1

Meet the Robot and Our Partner Class

Children meet the classroom robot and learn what forward, turn, and stop mean. They say hello to the partner class and share one thing about their own classroom.

Duration: 45 minutes
2

Build and Test Our Robot Route

Pairs put together a short sequence of forward, turn, and stop blocks to guide the robot to a target. They test the route, fix it if the robot misses, and draw the path they programmed.

Duration: 150 minutes
Delivery: Drawing or Collage
3

Compare Routes with the Partner Class

Pairs look at the route the partner class wrote for the same path and talk about what is the same and what is different. They use simple pictures and gestures to explain which instructions they liked and why.

Duration: 90 minutes
Delivery: Comparative Chart
4

Show Our Best Route

Pairs show their best robot sequence and tell the partner class which instructions worked best and why. Both classes take turns sharing and cheering for each other.

Duration: 75 minutes
Delivery: Exhibition or Showcase
