Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to identify and describe how climate change affects different countries by examining local environmental data and comparing it with international examples shared by partner classrooms.

Remember / Understand

Students will be able to demonstrate critical thinking by applying climate data analysis tools to compare the specific climate impacts on their own country versus partner countries, collaboratively interpreting findings with international peers.

Apply

Students will be able to analyze and contrast the differential climate impacts across various countries by examining socioeconomic, geographical, and environmental factors, while evaluating how these differences shape global climate challenges.

Analyze

Students will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of existing climate adaptation and mitigation strategies in different countries, assessing their relevance to local contexts and judging their potential for international application through collaborative discussion with partner classrooms.

Evaluate

Students will be able to design and propose innovative, context-specific climate solutions that address the unique challenges identified in their country and partner nations, integrating multiple global perspectives and creating a prototype or action plan that demonstrates real-world impact aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Research and document how climate variations impact agriculture, economy, and population in each selected country

Analyze the relationship between geographic location and climate vulnerability for your chosen nations

Develop visual representations (charts, graphs, maps) showing climate data comparisons between countries

Identify and explain patterns in how different countries are adapting to their specific climate challenges
