What Environmental Problems Matter to Us?

Students brainstorm local environmental issues they care about, then preview the Korean e-books to identify the problems and solutions presented. They create a simple chart comparing what they see in the books to their own community's challenges.

Deep Dive: Analyzing Environmental Solutions

Students read the e-books carefully, extract the environmental problems and solutions, and research how their own region tackles similar issues. They gather information through short online research, family interviews, or community observations, then organize their findings in a comparison document.

Share and Respond on Padlet

Students post their comparative analysis on Padlet, explaining which environmental approaches work best in their region and why. They read and respond to classmates' posts and comments from the Korean students, discussing cultural differences in how communities solve environmental problems.

Evaluate and Reflect: Which Solutions Work Best?

Students review all the environmental strategies shared across the Padlet, evaluate their effectiveness in different cultural contexts, and discuss why certain approaches succeed in some places but not others. They create a short reflection on what they learned about global environmental thinking.
