Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to identify and describe how artificial intelligence tools are used in their own classroom and compare them with AI applications shared by partner classes from different countries.

Remember / Understand

Students will be able to demonstrate critical thinking by collaboratively analyzing how AI tools help or challenge learning across different cultural contexts and create a shared digital product reflecting multiple perspectives.

Project Activities

1

What is AI? Exploring Tools We Use Every Day

Students share their ideas about artificial intelligence and try out 2-3 simple, age-appropriate AI tools (such as educational chatbots, image generators, or reading apps). They record their first impressions and curiosities in a shared class document or journal.

Duration: 180 minutes
2

Discover and Test AI Tools in Our Classroom

Students work in small teams to explore different AI learning tools, document how each one works, and reflect on what they notice: Does it help them learn? Is it easy to use? What questions do they have? Teams create a simple record (text, drawings, or photos) of their experience with each tool.

Duration: 540 minutes
3

Exchange Experiences with Our Partner Class

Students create short video messages or a shared digital document describing their favorite AI tool, how they used it, and what they learned. They receive and watch messages from the partner class, then respond with questions and observations about how their classrooms use AI differently.

Duration: 600 minutes
Delivery: Video
4

Compare AI Tools Across Our Two Classrooms

Students analyze the AI tools and experiences shared by both classrooms. Working in pairs or small groups, they identify similarities and differences, create a comparison chart or visual showing which tools help with which types of learning, and discuss what they notice about how culture, resources, or context shape AI use.

Duration: 720 minutes
Delivery: Comparative Chart
5

Investigate How AI Helps and Challenges Learning

Students research and discuss the benefits and challenges of using AI in their learning. They conduct short interviews with classmates or teachers, gather examples from their own experience, and work together to create an infographic, poster, or digital report showing what they discovered about how AI supports or gets in the way of learning.

Duration: 900 minutes
Delivery: Infographic
6

Co-Create a Guide for Using AI Responsibly in School

Students and their partner class collaborate to design a simple, illustrated guide or action plan for using AI tools fairly, safely, and thoughtfully in the classroom. They share their ideas asynchronously, vote on the best suggestions, and create a final shared document that both classes can use.

Duration: 480 minutes
Delivery: Action Plan Document
7

Reflect and Share What We Learned About AI

Students present their discoveries, comparisons, and recommendations to their class and partner class through a live or recorded presentation. They reflect on how their thinking about AI has changed, what surprised them, and what they want to explore next. They also celebrate what they learned by working with students from another country.

Duration: 180 minutes
Delivery: Slides Presentation
