MISSION 1 — 👋 MEET ME

Who are you? Who am I? Suggested Weeks: 1–2 Mission Goal / Learning Tasks: • Introduce yourself and begin building relationships with international peers. • Create a short profile with name/nickname, school, department, hobbies, favorite subject, interests, one interesting fact, and one question. • Upload introductions to Padlet and find one international student who has something in common with you.

Duration: 60 minutes

MISSION 2 — 🏫 BE OUR TOUR GUIDE

What makes our school special? Suggested Weeks: 3–5 Mission Goal / Learning Tasks: • Become virtual tour guides and introduce interesting places around campus. • Create photographs, captions, short videos, or a virtual campus tour. • Possible locations include Tourism Department facilities, classrooms, library, cafeteria, gym, school garden, special classrooms, and student activity areas.

Duration: 240 minutes

MISSION 3 — 🎁 SHARE OUR CULTURE Box

What small thing tells a big cultural story? Suggested Weeks: 6–8 Mission Goal / Learning Tasks: • Introduce an object, postcard, souvenir, or cultural item that represents something about your culture. • Possible items include postcards, local snacks, souvenirs, traditional crafts, school badges, festival items, transportation cards, photographs, and drawings. • Explain what the item is, how it is used, why it is important, and why you chose it.

What is an ordinary school day like for you? Suggested Weeks: 9–10 Mission Goal / Learning Tasks: • Introduce a typical school day and compare everyday routines with international peers. • Share getting up, transportation, school arrival, classes, lunch, clubs, after-school activities, going home, homework, and evening activities.

How are our lives similar and different? Suggested Weeks: 11–13 Mission Goal / Learning Tasks: • Compare school schedules, uniforms, lunch, transportation, subjects, rules, clubs, homework, festivals, or after-school activities. • Use similarities and differences to develop intercultural understanding. • Ask: Why might this be different? rather than Which one is better?

MISSION 6 — 💻 MEET ME LIVE!

Can we communicate across cultures? Suggested Weeks: 14–16 Mission Goal / Learning Tasks: • Meet international partners online after several weeks of asynchronous communication. • Suggested sequence: welcome; student introductions; You Show, I Tell; culture challenge; singing along; goodbye. • Students show cultural box items while international partners ask questions and guess what the objects are.

Duration: 180 minutes

MISSION 7 — 💭 WHAT DID I DISCOVER?

How has my world become bigger? Suggested Weeks: 17–18 Mission Goal / Learning Tasks: • Reflect on the international learning experience. • Complete an exit ticket about something learned, something surprising, a similarity, a difference, something learned about oneself, and one thing to explore further.
